We purchased our first resale HDB and had the pleasure of working with Ryan from Real Design. Despite being young, Ryan is highly experienced and provided us with plenty of creative ideas that my husband and I had not considered. The entire renovation process was smooth and completed within just two months. The carpentry workmanship was excellent, with great attention to detail. Ryan was attentive, always listening to our needs while offering practical advice to enhance our ideas. I engaged Ms Margareth Vania from The Real Design as my ID. Overall, it was a positive experience. She came prepared with proposal ideas before our first meeting, which truly impressed me and showed her initiative and professionalism. She has a strong aesthetic sense, and was able to understand my preferences well through our discussions. I appreciated how she translated my ideas into a cohesive design. There were a few items that required rectification after handover, but she remained helpful and responsive in coordinating the necessary follow-ups. If you are looking for a designer who is proactive, has good design sense, and is easy to work with, Ms. Margareth is definitely worth considering.

I’m truly very grateful to have worked with Neo. The final outcome of my home turned out exactly as I had envisioned. From the start, he really understood me and what I wanted, and his suggestions were always thoughtful and on point. As a busy working parent, peace of mind was very important to me, and Neo gave me exactly that. Finally releasing the before and after photos of our Condo Renovation. This was a solid 8 months of work, from sourcing and liaising with several Interior Designers, choosing all the materials down to the tiniest detail, construction work, some road bumps and finally, our dream home. We found an excellent interior design firm (The Real Design) and we were appointed Flynn, who is a Senior Interior Designer. He knew exactly the style we wanted (Mid Century Modern), and after a few mock ups, we had a plan in place. This is not a common style in Singapore, so finding the right person that could put our ideas in a 3D design was key to the success of the build. We chose a ground floor condo, and the owners had done some minor renovations, but basically stock! It is a 3 bedroom, 2.5-bathroom 1400sqft condo. We saw the potential right away! This is a breakdown of the main adjustments to the condo: 1) Enclosed kitchen was completely ripped apart, and an entire wall was taken down to turn into an open kitchen concept 2) Living Room was converted into a lattice style open office, as well as a living room (this is such an epic change!) 3) Both major bathrooms had a full makeover, each having their own flavour and colours. The Peranakan tiles in the shared bathroom has no 2 tiles the same which was very cool! 4) Herringbone Vinyl flooring which we laid over the top of the tiles in the common areas added a vibrant and gentle flow through the house, complimenting the blues, greens, oranges etc. 5) Balcony had the original glass sliding panels knocked down, fake grass ripped out and wooden floorboards extended. We added a coffee nook and storage for a clean look seeing as it was our dedicated dining space. 6) Master bedroom had the simple closet ripped out, and a full-length floor to ceiling, wall to wall closet was put in. 7) Full paint job and beading 8) New appliances, air cons, carpentry, lighting We are over the moon about how great this all looks. Special mention and massive thanks to Flynn our Interior Designer for doing a fantastic job organising all the contractors and for understanding our vision! He was efficient, readily available, drove us around to choose materials, very attentive, and just a generally nice person who truly cares about his job and his clients. Even after the renovation he would check in with us to see if everything was okay or if we had any questions or queries he would help out. If you need an Interior Designer in SG, Flynn is your man!
