Le Interior Affairs

We had a wonderful experience working with my ID Polly and Alan D, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional interior designer. From the start, they showed a very positive attitude and were always patient, approachable, and willing to listen to my ideas and concerns. Their design was professional, practical, and well thought out, and the overall service provided throughout the renovation process was excellent. Communication and coordination were tight, and the project timeline was well managed, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I was especially impressed with their post-renovation touch-up services(validated through the continued support 6 months after the renovation), as they ensured everything was properly completed and rectified promptly. We decided to signed the second reno contract with them for our parents house and it turned out to be another satisfied one too! I have also recommended them to several friends and colleagues, and all of them are very satisfied with their design and work quality. Definitely a trustworthy and capable team!

We spoke with a few IDs from different platforms before we landed on Le Interior Affairs. After looking through their portfolios and content, my husband had an idea in mind for our home and Le Interior Attairs managed to capture it. The entire process from drafting to renders and shopping for items were great as Darryl and Kaylee were there with us every step of the way. Even during renovation phase when some parts were different from what we envisioned, they stepped up to the game. We feel safe speaking to them and hope more homes/ homeowners can find their inspiration and dream home with them! :)

Working with Vince and Germaine was honestly such a pleasant and reassuring experience from start to finish. Right from the beginning, we threw them a pretty tough challenge 😅 — I was leaning towards a modern contemporary style, while my partner preferred something dark and wabi-sabi. Instead of forcing a compromise or rushing into design decisions, they took the time to truly understand us first. In the initial stage, they focused on learning about our lifestyles, daily habits, and personal preferences, which made us feel heard and understood as homeowners, not just clients. By the second meeting, they already had a well-thought-out mood board prepared, and that was when it really felt like I was working with real designers. The entire process was seamless. Vince and Germaine have a great eye for design and saved us a lot of time figuring things out ourselves. They were proactive in providing solutions whenever we had concerns and worked around our timeline challenges without making things stressful. One thing we really appreciated was the clear timetable they provided—it made the whole renovation journey feel structured, organised, and easy to follow through. They were also incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with, which made a huge difference during such a major project. They took the effort to go shopping with us on multiple different days, patiently helping us make decisions and offering honest advice along the way. The end result is a home that’s lovely, cozy, and truly feels like us. We love our space so much that we’ve even decided to do our pre-wedding shoot right at home—that’s how much we enjoy being in it and how proud we are of the final outcome. Overall, Vince and Germaine are thoughtful, capable, and reliable designers with a genuine passion for what they do. We’re really glad we entrusted them with our home and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, well-supported renovation journey.

Renovation is one of the biggest expenses in your life which you entrust a complete stranger to handle. It can be daunting process, especially for a couple in our 20s, wiping out a bulk of our savings. But with the right ID, our reno journey was a breeze. While we wanted a nice ig-worthy home, we did set out a budget to not overstretch ourselves. Kaylee never once forced us to spend unnecessarily, and was very respectful of our budget (a few times she reminded us to stay within budget, HAHA). She understood our lifestyle and needs, was critical but never dismissive. For example, we're relatively tall and needed taller (than usual) countertop height, amongst other smaller details. She designed a house which truly made sense for US and not a space that just looks nice. Engaging Kaylee from LIA was truly the best decision we made in this entire reno process :) it was definitely worth our every cent

Highly recommend Kaylee as she is not only professional, but knowledgeable and responsible. We had full trust in her throughout our entire reno journey because Kaylee truly went above and beyond for us. Some IDs make you second guess their decisions and make you question if they truly have your best interests at heart, but we lucked out with an amazing ID and didn't need to lift a single finger (well, that should be the case and the whole point of why you engage an ID right?). With so many crazy reno stories out there, we are beyond grateful that our experiences renovating our first home has been nothing short of amazing. Can't recommend her enough!
